Lindsey Porter

Lindsey has more than 25 years working in communications and currently works with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, based at St James' Hospital, just next door to Shakespeare Primary.

Lindsey has volunteered for youth charities and organisations for many years, with highlights running a small radio service with primary school pupils for a group of care homes and accompanying a group of secondary school girls to a girls-only education project in India.

A mother of two girls, Lindsey hopes to renew a strong relationship between hospital staff and their local neighbouring community.
