September in Year Three and Four
Our Year 3 and Year 4 pupils have been engaged in a variety of exciting and educational activities this term! Year 3 recently had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Leeds Discovery Centre, where they participated in a fascinating fossils workshop. The children explored ancient remains and learned about the history of our planet in a hands-on environment, igniting their curiosity about the natural world.
Meanwhile, our Year 4 students have been busy as well! They enjoyed a fun skipping workshop, where they developed their fitness skills while having a great time with friends. Additionally, Year 4 completed an enlightening workshop focused on the Stone Age and Iron Age, delving into the lives of our ancient ancestors. To top it all off, they had an inspiring Zoom chat with the renowned author Onjali Raouf, who shared her passion for storytelling and encouraged the children to embrace their creativity. We are so proud of all of the children's hard work and dedication since coming back to school and we are looking forward to seeing them fulfil their potential over the course of the coming year.
