Y5 with Natasha Farrant
This half term, year 5 have been thoroughly enjoying reading the adventurous tale of The Rescue of Ravenwood. Ending the half-term on a high, year 5 had the fantastic opportunity to meet the book's author - Natasha Farrant.
During our online video call, Natasha shared insights into her inspiration for the book and described how her passions and personal experiences helped her to create a story that reminds us of the beauty of the world around us and how important it is to protect it.
The year 5 children asked some thought-provoking questions and even got the opportunity to participate in some creative writing guided by Natasha herself. We would like to thank Nastasha for a wonderful experience and look forward to reading much more from her in the future!
