Once Upon a Time
As part of the 'Once Upon a Time' learning project, the children in Pre-School Nursery have been bringing story characters to life by baking their own gingerbread people!
We measured and mixed the ingredients, rolled and cut the dough, and baked our own characters in the oven before decorating them with icing. Our new vocabulary words 'bake' and 'mix' have been thoroughly embedded and are being used by children independently. Baking success!
